Lucio has two young children, a dog who doesn’t like him, and an angry wife who feels betrayed by her husband due to an affair he had with one of his clients. He’s living in the back of the bakery owned by his father-in-law because his wife kicked him out of the house.
After discovering how slim his chances of survival are, Lucio makes the decision to devote the final one hundred days of his life to righting his mistakes, and most importantly, to gaining his wife’s forgiveness.
This is an excellent story. It will make you laugh and cry. So many truths about life and love are contained within this novel that I couldn’t help but do a great deal of soul-searching of my own. I am grateful to have read this book. It is beautiful.
