The Lost Boy is a novella written by Thomas Wolfe.  In order to gain knowledge ofboy Wolfe’s writing style, this is one of the books I chose to pursue after reading the book about Kerouac.  After reading it, I can see why Kerouac studied to Wolfe’s work.

The story is short, moving, and brilliantly written.  This is writing you can feel.  The “lost boy” refers to a 12-year-old boy who dies and relationships he had with others and the world.  It is also about trying to recapture youth.  An incredible novella all the way around.  Find it, read it, feel it, let me know if you loved it as much as I did!
